These caricatures were done in 1996, 1997, and 1997. I have done more since then with Al's new look, but none of them are scanned in yet.

These watercolors were done in 1995 or so as college projects. That's Harvey the Wonder Hamster on the right.

A couple photos
from the first ALCON in 1998. The first is of me drawing Eric Houg ala
Amish Paradise, and the second is a snapshot of two of my larger sized Al art,
much too big for my scanner. The left one is a cartoonish portrait I did
as a college project back in 1996, and the blue one on the right was
something I did in Junior High School back in 1988. After this photo was
taken, my mother had Al autograph it for me.

From 1999, this was sort of a political cartoon about the number of Star Wars related comedy songs on the Dr. Demento show, and how Al was about to blow us all away when his "Saga Begins" was released.

These two images are from the "ALCON Fun Zone Activity Book" which I made for ALCON 2000. The left image is "Like A Surgeon" live in concert featuring Ruben in his Cone-Bra, and the right is "One More Minute" live in which Al debriefs himself and hands his findings to the ladies.

Also from the "ALCON Fun Zone Activity Book", it's "Happy Steve" Chai and Marty "Gumby" Lick (aka Torso Boy) who created the Yahoo! It's Yankovic! and Al-oholics Anonymous web sites, and were also hosts of the Al Trivia contest at the ALCON events.
These caricatures are not of Al himself, but they are Al-related. First is of Al's drummer and Webmaster, Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz. Next is Marty Lick as the 'Torso Boy' from "Albuquerque", And finally it's myself and my wife Stephanie attending an Al concert. These were all drawn sometime during the "Running With Scissors" Tour, 1999 ~ 2000.
This image was a small painting I did back in college (1996 or so) as a template for the much larger portrait pictured earlier on this page. When I recently ran across it again, I scanned it in, ran a filter over it to clean it up, and added the "Weird Al Star.Com" logo to it, as another potential submission for the calendar. They didn't end up using it, but hey, it looks cool here. :)

Dave "Elvis" Rossi and his band of cohorts started Weird Al Star Dot Com as a fan based effort to get "Weird Al" Yankovic a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame. As a nifty fund raiser, you can now order 2004 calendars of cool Weird Al photos, with a nifty color illustration of Al by me, Luke Ski! Find out all about it by visiting www.weirdalstar.com !
