Background on "Uber Geek":
"Uber Geek" is my fourth album, released in 2002. The new material for this CD was written and recorded from 1999 through 2002, with half of the parodies (and one original) being rap songs, and the rest being from miscellaneous musical genres. I did most of the vocals, but on this album I am joined frequently by special featured guests and others making cameo appearances. Those people are all mentioned above in the track listing, except for my studio engineer Daniel Robinson, who makes his first major appearance on any of my CDs, portraying himself as Luke Ski's frustrated studio engineer during the interstitial sketch bits in-between the songs on this CD. This CD has a dual-themed purpose. One, to pay homage to all of my favorite rap albums of yore, that always had a great, fun feel to them that let you get to know who the artists really were behind the music you loved so much. And two, while I still do feel that the majority of the general public who pays attention to pop-culture should understand this album, there are points during it where it definitely takes a biased turn towards catering to the 'fanboys' and 'fangirls' in our society. This makes sense, since the title of the album is all about myself declaring to the world that I am the "Uber Geek", the self-anointed leader of all the dorks of the world, as the cover photos taken by Davros at "Dementia: 2001" clearly indicate. At a length of 74 minutes (again), I consider this CD to be the best album I have produced thus far, and will be very difficult to top. Not that I'm not going to try to do so in 2003.
