Background on “Carpe Dementia”:

“Carpe Dementia” is my third CD, released in 1999.  The new material for this CD was written and recorded during 1998 and 1999, with half of the parodies being either rap or alternative songs, and the rest being from miscellaneous musical genres (and one stand-up comedy track).  I did almost all of the vocals, with the only major exception being my sister Amy Sienkowski singing the lead on “Titanic Monday”.  The cover art is meant to be a parody of the Joker’s Cards album covers done by the group the “Insane Clown Posse”, who are parodied on the album.  The general public can understand the majority of the pop-culture material on this album, as long as they haven’t been living in a cave for the past 10 to 30 years.  Since this album was created to represent the best of my work, the 7 most popular tracks from my first 2 CDs were recreated from scratch for this album, making them the new standard versions of these songs.  At a length of 74 minutes, I consider this CD to be the starting point for any dementia fan that wants to start collecting my music.  Supplies of this CD are running low, but it will be reissued again in early 2003.
